VU.CH, l’art à l’hôpital, offers an itinerary of 4 contemporary art exhibitions in different locations. In partnership with the 12th International Conference on Shared Medical Decision-Making (ISDM 2024), organized by Unisanté from July 7 to 10, 2024 at the CHUV, the artists in the tour will share other perspectives on the notion of co-production. To experience and interrogate the notion of collaboration, several events are proposed from June to November.

VU.CH, l’art à l’hôpital, propose un parcours de 4 expositions d’art contemporain dans différents lieux. En partenariat avec la 12e Conférence internationale sur la décision médicale partagée (ISDM 2024) organisée par Unisanté du 7 au 10 juillet 2024 au CHUV, les artistes invité·e·s dans le cadre du parcours partagent d’autres points de vue sur la notion de coproduction. Pour expérimenter et questionner la collaboration, plusieurs événements sont proposés de juin à novembre.

Caractères mobiles

Caractères mobiles (founded in 2014) is a collective of writers – made up of Catherine Favre, Mathias Howald and Benjamin Pécoud – that focuses on encounters in its approach to creation. Mirroring the figure of the public writer, the collective offers its services in specific contexts such as swimming pools or libraries, sometimes as part of cultural events (Visions du Réel, Nyon and Festival de la Cité, Lausanne). Its modus operandi is to write on commission, collecting stories and composing a collective text that tells the story of a given place over a given period.

  • Sunday 7 July 2024 between 10am and 4pm – approximately 2.5 hours in the Department of Internal Medicine and 2.5 hours in the main hall of the hospital next to the conference venue.
  • Monday July 8, 2024, between 1.30pm and 6.30pm – approximately 2.5 hours in the Department of Internal Medicine and 2 hours in the main hall of the hospital next to the conference venue.
Léandre Burkhard

Léandre Burkhard was born in Geneva in 1979, and lives and works in the Canton of Vaud. He trained in ceramics at the Centre d’enseignement professionnel de Vevey (CEPV) and in Hangzhou, where he obtained a Master’s degree from the Chinese Academy of Arts. He returned to Switzerland in 2021, after 15 years in China. Léandre Burkhard creates materials and develops kilns for rapid firing. He is also the author of playful videos on ceramics, a testament to his ingenuity and sense of sharing. Alongside his activities as a ceramist and teacher (CEPV), he is Chairman of the Board of the association swissceramics.

Caractères mobiles (fondé en 2014) est un collectif d’écrivain·e·s – composé de Catherine Favre, Mathias Howald et Benjamin Pécoud – qui place la rencontre au centre de sa démarche. À l’image de la figure de l’écrivain public, le collectif offre ses services dans des contextes spécifiques comme les piscines ou les bibliothèques, parfois dans le cadre de manifestations culturelles (Visions du Réel, Nyon et Festival de la Cité, Lausanne). Son modus operandi est d’écrire sur commande, de recueillir des récits et composer un texte collectif qui raconte un lieu donné sur une période déterminée.

  • Dimanche 7 juillet 2024 entre 10h et 16h – environ 2h30 dans le service de médecine interne et 2h30 dans le hall principal du bâtiment hospitalier.
  • Lundi 8 juillet 2024 entre 13h30 et 18h30 – environ 2,5 heures dans le service de médecine interne et 2 heures dans le hall principal du bâtiment hospitalier.
Léandre Burkhard

Léandre Burkhard, est né en 1979 à Genève, il vit et travaille dans le Canton de Vaud. Il s’est formé en céramique au Centre d’enseignement professionnel de Vevey (CEPV) et à Hangzhou, où il a obtenu un Master à l’Académie des Arts de Chine. Il rentre en Suisse en 2021, après 15 années passées en Chine. Léandre Burkhard crée des matières et développe des fours permettant des cuissons rapides. Il est également l’auteur de vidéos ludiques sur la céramique qui témoignent de son ingéniosité et de son sens du partage. En parallèle de ses activités de céramiste et d’enseignant (CEPV), il occupe la fonction de président du comité de l’Association swissceramics.
