Mentoring Matching

Dear ISDM Society Colleagues, 

We are pleased to invite you to participate as a mentor in the mentorship matching activity that will take place at the ISDM Conference 2024.

Mentorship Matching provides early-career colleagues with the opportunity to engage in dedicated discussions with seasoned professionals about navigating career progression. 

The minimum time commitment involves an initial discussion with your matched colleague before the conference. Together, you will coordinate and set aside at least 1 hour for a face-to-face meeting during the ISDM Conference 2024 (Tuesday at noon). Otherwise, you can opt for a different time that suits both parties. Should you and your junior colleague decide to extend your interaction beyond the designated meeting, whether through additional face-to-face sessions or ongoing correspondence, the choice is entirely yours.

Mentors are not required to commit to more than one mentee unless they wish to and are available to do so.  

Mentors can register using a survey (Click HERE to Sign Up!) This platform allows mentors to conveniently update their information and availability as required. Mentees will identify 3 potential mentors matching their interests and the mentorship committee will use this list to pair people up according to their common interests.
